of course, this is now a part of history thanks to Mass elections and lack of leadership in the senate. Still, the doctor gives some excellent observations and facts.

Broadcast on KMOX in St. Louis, Missouri I believe.

Labor vision: Health Disparities

With more folks out of work than normal, this is a side issue; but important one.

Doctors Jim Kimmey and Will Ross explore the problem of health disparities - how certain populations, such as African Americans and Latinos, face worse healthcare outcomes than citizens as a whole....

new russian fighter

As we export more and more technology and cash, some other nations are taking advantage. Russia and China has an active update program for their respective military technologies. Some of this is paid for by America.

Note: in America, we have bridges falling in rivers and in Missouri: we cannot agree on new bridge over the Mississippi. We have woes sending kids to schools (just look at some of the achedemic scores). On and on.

So much for the Yankee traders, masters of enterprize. So much for the techonoligical leader of the free world.

Time for folks to stand up and tell our fearless leaders such is unacceptable.

Might find vids useful:

Leo Gerard talks about healthcare cadillac tax

This is a clip from Fox news. Leo is not happy with "cadillac" tax, nor am I.

Should this "tax" pass, I personally will campaign against both the dems and folks like those dems who are Republicans wearing the democratic party mask.

Hi Joe Lieberman and Ben Nelson: I will donate to any opponent of yours in next election to take you out of politics. Mary L, I hope you enjoy retirement.

I will find it very difficult to say to folks in Missouri, Illinois and some other areas "Our friends the dems" deserve office this next election cycle. After all, this bunch has done more to undermine unions and the working man's rights than the past eight years of Bush folly in less than a year while taking care of the insurance companies and wall street.

It has been a pipe dream of the GOP to tax medical benefits of the workers since the second world war. Good going dems, you will get your rewards if this passes even in a modest form.

Pass HR676 and it for the most part will take care of the bills for the nation.

working dollars

Yet one more vid from 1957 on economics, this cartoon is interesting for those whom follow the stock market. This is perhaps another vid our fearless politicans and wall street folks need to view.

Odd it should mention dividends when the top executives rake off tons of money. Bonus anyone?

-----------------------

understanding the dollar

Another economic vid from 1953. Again, propraganda for grade school kids and somewhat interesting to us.

From watching congress doing economic reform and bailouts, perhaps congressfolks need to view this vid.

----------------------------------

what is money

What is money? This short 1947 vid might be propraganda, but amusing. I saw this one in grade school many eons ago:

----------------------------------

when talking about barter: gains are taxable if the IRS finds out about it.

Move your money

Odd as it may seem, Huffington and Ron Paul agree on one political point: Move your money from larger bank to smaller community banks.

http://moveyourmoney.info/
has a zip code locater, but it appearently does not list credit unions. Remember the credit unions from working times? They are a safe and good bet for many funtions and offer many of the services of a larger bank.

Soar 11-3 uses the credit unions for its banking and I do have accounts myself with one credit union. Several members of my family have small credit union accounts as does many of our Soar members.

Although the moving of the little folk's funds will do little to reform the finance industry, it is something folks can do to put pressure on the larger banks; those institutions that were bailed out and then stuck it to folks like you and me.

After you move some funds, you might wish to ask the fearless elected ones why did little or no reform of the banking industry and mention the fact you moved money out of the large banks into smaller banks or credit unions.

I call for the unions to move their funds to credit unions and urge members to join or even form credit unions.

from you tube and good vid:
