Move your money

Odd as it may seem, Huffington and Ron Paul agree on one political point: Move your money from larger bank to smaller community banks.

http://moveyourmoney.info/
has a zip code locater, but it appearently does not list credit unions. Remember the credit unions from working times? They are a safe and good bet for many funtions and offer many of the services of a larger bank.

Soar 11-3 uses the credit unions for its banking and I do have accounts myself with one credit union. Several members of my family have small credit union accounts as does many of our Soar members.

Although the moving of the little folk's funds will do little to reform the finance industry, it is something folks can do to put pressure on the larger banks; those institutions that were bailed out and then stuck it to folks like you and me.

After you move some funds, you might wish to ask the fearless elected ones why did little or no reform of the banking industry and mention the fact you moved money out of the large banks into smaller banks or credit unions.

I call for the unions to move their funds to credit unions and urge members to join or even form credit unions.
