Judge strikes down ordinance raising minimum wage in St. Louis C - KPTV - FOX 12

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

A circuit court judge struck down an ordinance that would raise the minimum wage in St. Louis City to $11 per hour by 2018.

Supporters of the ordinance say it will help workers struggling to survive on the $7.65 state mandated hourly wage. The Board of Alderman approved the increase in August.
