It's about Guts

A really good Ed show segment, interview with Bernie Sanders on April 28th, 2009.

I feel the same way with Ed, some of these things are about guts or lack of them. Bernie the socialist of the senate might surprise you as well for you just might well agree with him on some issues.

Support for single payer healthcare in the nation is just one item that some of our fearless leaders have the "gut problem". I might add, some of the healthcare "reform" folks might just have that problem as well from my observation of the last few weeks. Guts or spine problems, one or the other and the dem lack of spine last congressional cycle was a topic of discussion not only with our little group, but others as well.

Never believe that bull that the American people are "not ready" for universal health care for that is a broken record played the last 50 years. Ditto that of the Employee Free Choice Act by the way, it too has a long history of folks not being "ready". I still have that problem of Obama seating the thieves and murders of the healthcare industry and excluded single-payer advocates. I still have a problem that some of our "allies" on the EFCA have flipped as well.

Employee Free Choice Act passage is about guts. "Buy and make American" products is about guts. More and more the non-passage of good bills that benefit workers , the less faith folks will have in our leaders . Trust is earned, in case the politicans do not know.

Dems might learn to their displeasure that voters are going to hold some of them accountable next election for the things they do and very importantly for the things they did not do. In Missouri, many elections are won or lost by less than 25,000 votes.
